It's the end of an era; Revelation shows plans to kill off Microsoft Paint

Its been a stalwart feature of the brand since 1985 in the very first Windows; but no more as the next Windows Update reveals that Microsoft Paint is to be killed off this year.

When should we expect to say goodbye to Paint; and why?

The autumn or fall update; has indicated while Paint won’t be removed from the build, Microsoft has listed it as “depreciated,” which means the program is “not in active development and might be removed in future releases.” It’s a sad end to a program with has been around since the very beginning for Microsoft and its users; and despite Microsoft planning to replace it with the new Paint 3D app; it quickly became clear the news didn’t sit well with the public.

Goodbye Paint

In fact; the general reaction is so negative; we won’t be surprised if Microsoft probably reconsiders killing off Microsoft Paint; but for now, we suggest you join us in biding farewell by using the hashtag #RIPPaint
